Our Mission & Policy
Members of 1955 thru 1972 Full Size
Chevrolet Cars have a dedication & interest for the preservation, restoration, and maintenance of classic
vehicles. The club normally DOES NOT host car shows, but we occasionally assist BENEFIT Car Shows
or assist National or Regional Events. We enjoy Car Cruises as a group to various locations
within a reasonable travel distance and also participate in club functions like picnics & local events
Every year we select several locations that meet our membership
approval, goals, club interest and expansion of the collectible vehicles our members own, desire or promotes including
restoration. These events include Road Cruises, Cruise-In's, Car
Shows. Meet-N-Greets, Shine-N-Dine, Charity activities or Swap Meets and/or
just a fun get together
As a club we also work with Ozark
Mountain Regional car shows, cruise-in's & swap meet organizers in Lower SW Missouri
& Upper NW Arkansas within 50 mies of the state line to have classes added or adjusted that
our membership cars can enter that are setup for similar vehicles made by all mfgrs for that specific vehicle size such as with Full Size Only.
We also promote a DISPLAY Class to be added to Car Shows for people who
DO NOT want any more trophies and are their to enjoy the event.
Many of our members belong
to one or more State, National Car or Regional Car Associations. Over the years we have hosted Regional Car Conventions, Local
Car Shows as the host or co-host, Highway Cruises or Nightly Cruise-In's within our region.
We have also participated in
swap meets, picnic's, Meet-N-Eat or Meet-N-Greet gatherings.
In our web page we have posted several Regional, National
Associations or Clubs events that we enjoined with many Classic
Chevrolet Owners or non-owners as a participant. We have members that
also belong to other National Chevy Assocations we DO NOT co-participate with. Our club
also co-operates with many other clubs in many states on events, cruise-In's, or special events. We also have many members
that ARE NOT members of any National or state Car Clubs and wish to remain that way.
We welcome all to join and participate in a friendly
club as you best wish to.
Our club is mostly structured around 1955
thru 1972 Full Size BelAir, Biscayne, Brookwood, Caprice, DelRay, 59-60 El Camino,
Impala, Impala SS, Nomad, Sedan Delivery, Yeoman enthusiasts.
We also welcome: ==== 1955 - 1957 Bel Air, Del Ray, 150 or 210, Wagons, Sedan Delivery & stretched
Limo's
==== 1959 - 1960 El Camino's
Most of our membership are
Near the Missouri/Arkansas State Line in the area known as the
OZARK's MOUNTAIN Region/Range
within listed areas
noted.boundries including all of communities crossed by the highways listed as boundries
at top of this web page. Anyone
residing outside area may join the club with understanding all meetings & activities are normally held in
Lower SW Missouri such as Branson (area)
Missouri or an activity selected for a club activity when scheduled.
The majority of membership over the years have recommended
that due to the Winter travel situations in the Ozark Mountain & Valley Regions, time needed
to maintain or upgrade their vehicles, holiday extended travel time, availability on a seasonal basis, to take a low keyed
schedule for meetings, gatherings & Cruise-In's known as Meet-N-Greet.
Normally a Planning Committee Session
is held in March, followed by Meet-N-Greet get togethers
in May, July and September usually at a classic car related event. Members
& friends have gotten together in February, April, June and/or August
as a Social group ONLY to attend events as in the past years. We also do some
end of the year social gatherings & other club business in Mid- November (never Thanksgiving
Day or weekend) or 1st week of December.
Since we have such a great variety
of good food & restaurants in the Ozark Mtn. Region, we alternate meeting locations. We also may switch a meeting to a
Festival, Car Show, Cruise-in or other Functions location on the recommendation of the membership. Notification
of time, date, location are usually posted in the Club Activities section of our website.
